Along with the rapid development of China's national economy and the people'sstandard of living rise ceaselessly, the people are more frequent travel, urban railtransportation as a kind of important and convenient transportation for more and morepeople to accept and choice. Urban rail transit is also facing increase capacity, improveservice quality, improving the competition ability of the urgent needs. Automatic farecollection system in rail transit system as an important tool of crowd travel andcommunication, is facing a great challenge, and TVM is the terminal equipment whichhas the most internal components. The TVM greatly reduce the human consumption, andavoid the unnecessary manual operation of the error.This paper studies the actual demands of the metro AFC system as the starting point,research the key technologies of system and the realization methods. This paper firstlyintroduces the TVM's hardware frame and software frame,and does a detailed analysisthe function of each layer of the system on the embedded operating system under theframe. Researches the logic layer and the device driver layer on the basis of theframework, and gives the detailed design of each layer. And then mainly describe how torealize the functional modules of the business logic layer and the driver layer.
