Library is to collect, organize, collecting books for people to read, referring to the agency, as early as 3000 BC appeared the first library, the library has to save the cultural heritage of mankind, the development of information resources and to participate in social and education functions. Emergence and development of self-service library is a library of this social mechanism in transition to adapt to the times and to make changes in the function of positioning the library, services and management to survive, it is a library of self-innovation and self-improvement field. However, self-service library’s services are to meet the information needs of readers, because we lack a system without an effective evaluation system from consideration.Through literature, Delphi method, gray theory analysis, AHP and other methods of theoretical study and practice, to build an effective self-evaluation model for a system of library services, and select the Shenzhen Library and self-service equipment to build the evaluation model is verified, proposed self-service library service optimization strategy.
