February 2020,Both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology have issued two documents: Opinions on standardizing the Use of Relevant Indicators of SCI Papers in Colleges and Universities to Establish a Correct Evaluation Direction and Some Measures to Eliminate the Bad Orientation of "Only Essays" in Scientific and Technological Evaluation.Both documents are clear,The direction is clear.Academia calls for standardizing the use of relevant indicators for SCI papers in scientific research evaluation,SCI papers,ESI related indicators can not be used as a direct basis for scholars,subject evaluation and university ranking,The quality,contribution and influence of iconic achievements should be regarded as quantitative evaluation indicators.For the Ministry of Education,the Ministry of Science and Technology put forward the academic community urgently need to establish a scientific and reasonable scientific research evaluation system,Social organizations have responded.For example,7 April 2020,At the San Francisco Declaration(San Francisco declaration on research Assessment,),more than180 scholars from around the world DORA)webinars,Discuss the role of library in scientific research evaluation.What are the advantages of the library to carry out scientific research evaluation services?
