Library Information Service Capabilities In The Network Environment Evaluation Studies

With the development of Internet, information resource becomes one of the core elements to promote competitive ability. The in-depth development of library undertakings and information service ability will inevitably support the information resource acquirement of individual, the country and society. Under this circumstances, this paper focuses on the essence and evaluation of library information service ability so that it can shed light on the promotion of library systemization, scientific management and the information service ability.This paper indicates that to evaluate information service ability will be helpful to the promotion of the management level and comprehensive benefit of library, to introducing the competitive mechanism, to increasing the competitive ability of library, and to the entire development of library undertakings,in the face of the great challenge of library in this network-intense environment.Based on the discussion of the library evaluation theory and research,The paper built a relatively entire evaluation index system of information service ability from information resources allowcation and information sevice job. Then use this evaluation index system and software tools to analyze the existing information service ability of the China Pharmaceutical University. This paper has reference value to built and improve the evaluation index system of our library information service, and to the future library evaluation activity.
