Since 1979, was born after the express industry in China, in the next 30 years time express delivery market is developing rapidly. After entering the new century, the rapid growth of Chinese economy and the popularity of e-commerce, China’s express delivery market in the future will be subject to the electronic commerce, macro economic growth and the Midwest development pushed by many factors, such as continuous high growth momentum. Chinese private express business accounted for 79% in 2015, is China’s private Courier enterprise rapid development momentum.However, China’s express delivery market rapid development will bring huge profits, attracting international express delivery giant constantly entering the Chinese market, state-owned, led by China post, Courier companies also increased the market layout, private Courier enterprises also have mushroomed general construction development. The international crude oil prices rising transportation costs, many factors for small size, economic strength limited private Courier companies, have to face more and more severe market challenges. Therefore, how to deal with the current market competition situation and the development of bigger and stronger enterprise, enhance the core competitiveness, this is the key of the private Courier enterprise survival and development.People aware of the competitive intelligence for the development of express delivery enterprises, has become the human resources, products, capital after another important resources, therefore, this paper introduced theory, management and modern logistics information science in the process of development of private express delivery need to consider the problems on competitive intelligence research, the development of private express delivery methods and contents of competitive intelligence for interpretation. At the same time, the introduction of daily express as case, private Courier industry development based on the existing theory, analysis to carry out the strategy of competitive intelligence and the necessity and feasibility of constructing competitive intelligence system.
