With the development of information technology and the popularization of the network, the use of household appliances is becoming more and more large, so the power consumption of the ordinary household is far beyond the past. At present, many families use centralized meter reading management system, because the traditional manual meter reading mode can not meet the needs of the modern, which requires us to develop a new meter reading management system for power company.In this paper, a centralized meter reading system for Nanchang County electric power company is studied. the paper introduces the background of the research on the meter reading system of Nanchang County power supply company, the current development status and the significance of the project, and points out the research direction and main work of the Nanchang County power supply company. The paper analyzes the meter reading system of Nanchang County power supply company, and puts forward some unreasonable and low efficiency problems. After the service optimization, the system is divided into electricity customer registration, meter reading, manual meter reading, meter reading, meter reading, user management, user management, basic data management, etc.. In the functional analysis part, the paper describes the use case diagram in the UML modeling tool, and gives the basic use case and use case description, and the function module of the system will be realized.
