With the rapid development of optoelectronic techno logy,fiber polarizer plays in optical communication systems and fiber optic sensing system indispensable role,its demand is also growing.Therefore developed a high extinction ratio,low insertion loss,the production process is simple,low cost,high reliability and good compatibility with applications fiber polarizers,optical fiber technology has become one of the objectives researchers are pursuing.In this paper,fused taper for the study,the tapered fiber technology and surface plasmon resonance (Surface Plasmon Resonance.SPR) techno logy,designed and produced based on the principle of Fused Fiber SPR polarizer and build fiber polarization test system,its operating wavelength,the extinction ratio and the insertion loss performance parameters tested.First,the theoretical simulation at 650 nm,1310nm and 1550nm wavelength, fiber,metal film (composite film) and the SPR angle curve air,has been Systems produced by Fused get singlemode fiber cone and using vacuum evaporation techniques uniform diameter area on one side tapered fiber deposition of metal films with different thickness and composite membrane Ag Ag-TiO2,respectively, in single-wavelength 650 nm,1310 under nm and 1550 nm,fused fiber polarizer,extinction ratio testing.
