In the knowledge economy environment, the university libraries as the most important places that include knowledge storage, transmission and service, facing tremendous pressures and challenges from all aspects. Libraries should change the traditional service concepts and service styles, knowledge management and knowledge services fully integrated into the development of the library, adapt to the needs of the times, to maintain their advantage and position in the fierce competition, and provide better services for the society.This paper based on the University Libraries as the research object, first clear the relevant theoretical of knowledge management and knowledge services, analysis that knowledge management and library information services are inextricably linked. Then I investigated the current status of the knowledge services of university libraries, citing issues and problems in the library knowledge services, and propose an urgent need to build a platform of the knowledge service of university library based on knowledge management, to ensure the effective operation of knowledge services. Again, from the ideas of platform construction, elements, knowledge service models, implement and many other aspects, we specifically addressed the university library service platform based on knowledge management. Finally, through the analysis and summary the problems, proposing the knowledge services of university libraries safeguard mechanisms based on knowledge management, from the five aspects that include policies, technologies, human resources, cultures, quality management, integrating into the concepts and methods of knowledge management and knowledge services, ensure the full implementation of library knowledge services.
