Research On The Profit Model Of Electronic Book

The sustainable development of e-books cannot do without the study of the profit model. This paper first introduces the connotation of e-books and e-book profit model; then e-book industry’s profitability model were introduced, including early profit model and the current profit model; Then analyzing the key factors to improve the profit model for e-books, there are the copyright of e-book, the e-book format and e-book reader, and so on; Finally, the typical cases of domestic and foreign electronic industry, such as Amazon, China Mobile, Shengda Literature, Google reading are analyzed, analysis its profit model, then on the basis of comparison and analysis in the e-book at home and abroad, obtained inspiration for the future development of e-books. This paper provides some theoretical reference for the solution to the fundamental problem of Chinese ebook publishing, digital publishing development.
