Research On Application Of Lean In Shipyard Pipe Processing Workshops

Lean production has become a more advanced mode of production in today’s era, the shipbuilding enterprises of our country is trying to apply lean production to the shipbuilding process in order to keep the strong competitive power to achieve the just in time production and reduce the cost.The pipe production exists in the whole shipbuilding process with the wide variety and the huge number, outputting pipe fittings and delivery on time is very important to the shipbuilding cycle. Pipe processing workshop production efficiency is directly related to the whole construction process of the ship, but many shipyards of pipe processing workshop production management is still rely on artificial experience in our country, lack of scientific lead to pipe processing workshop production inefficiencies and the waste of resource, it has become the bottleneck link in ship construction.Many shipyards are trying to implement the lean production in pipe processing workshop to change the status, but how does it become a problem, so to explore how to implement the lean production in pipe processing workshop has the very vital significance.This paper is guided by the theory of lean production and analysis on process, production planning, operational effciency, technological process for pipe processing workshop, there are four researh aspects of the following.1) Analysis the lean pipe processing workshops’ needs to identify the part of lean optimize required of pipe processing workshops.2)Optimize the pipe production technological process, site management, dispatching and other aspects according to the theory of lean production in order to reduce waste and improve production efficiency.3)Use lean production JIT planning mode and kanban management to build a pipe processing workshop plan of JIT system, optimizing production process and implementing the plan to pull production operation mode based on the kanban.4)Discuss the operation of pipe lean production and how to make use of value stream on the pipe processing workshop for analysis and build lean assessment control system.In combination with the practical situation of pipe processing workshop production, this paper elaborates how to implement lean production in the pipe processing workshop of a set of detailed operational solution, not only for this pipe processing workshop to improve production efficiency, improve product quality, reduce production costs has realistic significance, but also to promote the application of lean production of the whole shipbuilding enterprises will play an exemplary role.
