For production enterprise, generally, its supply chain can be divided into three parts:purchase logistics, production logistics and sales logistics. The production logistics, which is regarded as "the second type of production", has developed to a key competition element and gained a widespread attention of people. Material distribution system, the nucleus factor of production, plays a significant role in improving distribution efficiency; reducing WIP and ensuring the production proceed in normal way. Especially, manufacture shop has a rich variety and a large amount of material demands. So there exist a contradictory between the high efficiency of lines and the complicated, low efficiency of material distribution. The contradictory has become the bottleneck of initial logistics and seriously impact on line’s efficiency. How to delivery materials to the request station in time and reasonably make significant sense to MFG. So, this text has done below study on the material distribution system.(1) This text has state the current status of material distribution system and analyze the existing issues of shop A. Then, use the Lean logistics relevant theory and method, combined with the characteristics of shop logistics; give a systematic conclusion on the distribution element.(2) Use the PFEP method in materials system. Put forwards the model table and maintenance mechanism of PFEP table. Research the current situation of A workshop material container, then put forward the proposal optimum of container and suppliers respectively.(3) Optimizer on material delivery system between stations. For the issue that there has a large quantity of WIP and disordered taking materials between stations, it brings up a buffer, which can decrease the quantity of WIP with the foundation of FIFO passageway and material super market and the establishing of store rules. For the issue that it takes a lot of time to distribute materials and it’s not fit with ergonomics, it raises a principle to unify distribution tools and containers. There has a new designed tool: PIZZA trolley, which has increased the distribution speed markedly.(4) Optimizer on delivery system from warehouse to stations. Around the distribution way, the nucleus issue of distribution mode, based on Milk-run mode, this text comes up with a tiny train cyclic mode which has the character of high frequency, small batches, fixed route and beat. The mode has a conspicuous effect on reducing the quantity of WIP and increasing the timeliness of distribution service. It also studied further on the cyclic distribution system of MFG. It analyses the condition and data requirement to carry out the system and brings up operation flow and procedure. For the route choice, with the foundation of qualitative analysis, it established a mode based on the shortest route. Then, it also raises a plan mode on the key element which affects the stability of distribution system:the quantity setting of safety storage and spectaculars.(5) Case analysis. Have a empirical research on the lean logistics delivery system in A workshop.
