With the development of science and technology,the market and social environment which discrete manufacturing workshop faced have had great change.Multi-varieties,scalable-batch and customization have become the main production mode in discrete manufacturing enterprises,which significantly increases the complexity of material delivery system.Accurate,timely and efficient material delivery is the key to ensure smooth production.This dissertation focuses on the material delivery for discrete manufacturing workshop.A material delivery system is established based on intelligent sensing network combined with RFID and UWB technology.The thorough research of this paper includes the architecture of system,real-time delivery data collection method and material delivery dynamic optimization.The main work is summarized as follows:(1)This paper analyzes the problems of material delivery process and summarizes the requirement of the material delivery system for discrete manufacturing workshop.On the basis of the shortcomings of traditional material delivery,a dynamic running mode of material delivery based on intelligent sensing network is proposed.Then the framework and physical architecture of material delivery system are constructed.The function structure of material delivery system in discrete manufacturing workshop is designed.(2)In order to obtain the real-time data derived from the manufacturing spots in discrete manufacturing workshop,an intelligent sensing platform integrated RFID and UWB technology is constructed.With the analysis of the information flow of material delivery in discrete manufacturing workshop,the UML-based data model is expounded in detail.In addition,the material delivery strategy based intelligent sensing network is explained.(3)Aiming at the demands for accurate and timely material delivery in dynamic workshop environment,intelligent sensing devices are deployed to build a real-time sensing network.According to the sensed real-time production state,delivery time windows of workstations are adjusted dynamically.The material delivery dynamic optimization model based on intelligent sensing network is set up with the minimum material delivery cost as the optimization goal.An improved tabu-search-based ant colony algorithm is designed to solve the problem.A case study is conducted to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm.(4)Based on the above theory and methods,a system of material delivery based on intelligent sensing network is developed.The intelligent sensing environment of discrete manufacturing workshop is built.The design idea,the development and operation environment is elaborated.Then the operation process of system is introduced.At last,this paper shows the system with project examples.
