Middle and low-voltage Distribution System is the end of the session of generation, transmission, distribution and sales which has a close relationship with people life. In recent years, more and more attention has been put on the middle and low-voltage distribution network which the scale of investment and construction is continually expending. The most basic role in the middle and low-voltage distribution network is that optimizing structure and improving the level of the equipment. The social responsibility and obligation of the medium and low voltage distribution network is improving the reliability to the residents of power supply. Meanwhile, with the accelerated process of marketization of China’s power industry, power grid which accounting as an independent and self-financing enterprise have to raise funds and recycle costs for profits in the fierce market environment. Therefore, the power grid enterprises should concern about the middle and low-voltage distribution network construction on social benefits and its comprehensive benefits such as economic and environmental benefits.Based on the above background, this paper analyzes the project of Taiyuan middle and low voltage power grid on the analysis of the current research and the results. First of all, the theory of middle and low voltage and the comprehensive evaluation of domestic and foreign research status are reviewed. Secondly, this paper points out the company’s current outstanding problems in the presence of low-voltage grid. Then, it puts forward the necessity of the project evaluation of the middle and low voltage power grid construction projects. Finally, the project is analyzed in detail from five aspects: reliability of power supply, economic benefit, technical level, social and environmental benefit and adaptability. This paper uses AHP for the first level indicators and entropy for the second indicators respectively and determine the weight of evaluation index, And then it uses the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model to evaluate the implementation effect of the low voltage power grid construction project of Taiyuan power supply company.The theory is clear and easy to be realized about the comprehensive evaluation and decision model of the middle and low-voltage distribution network project. The example has the good reference role in the actual distribution network projects. There also has a certain significance for the new ideas and directions for distribution network project of project post evaluation.
