Research On Public Space Environment Of The Aged Real Est A-te In Shanghai: A Case Study Of The Qinheyuan Aged Com Mu-nity

The aging problem in China is increasingly serious, and the traditional old-age supporting pattern cannot satisfy the substance and spiritual requirements of the old. To comply with social demand, the old-age supporting property rises, which is a brand new old-age supporting pattern based on community support for the old and supported by institution for old-age care.According to the analysis on existing old-age supporting properties of China and overseas old-age supporting properties, the author considers that Shanghai Qinheyuan Aged Community is a comparatively successful case of the old-age supporting properties at the present stage and has analytical and researchful significance. The pattern of Qinheyuan learns from and inherits the aged community under the CCRC pattern created by the USA, and is adjusted combining the national conditions of China.This thesis summarizes the great influence of construction and improvement of indoor and outdoor public space environment in buildings of aged community on the life quality of the old by combining the particularity of the old and the physical and mental features of aging and through investigation on current situation of usage of the indoor and outdoor public spaces in Shanghai Qinheyuan Aged Community. This thesis starts with the indoor and outdoor public space environment in buildings of Shanghai Qinheyuan Aged Community, analyzes and studies the case Shanghai Qinheyuan Aged Community. The design and detailed treatment for each indoor functional space, the outdoor road system, the outdoor activity space and landscape environment treatment are elaborated in this thesis. The current situations, highlights and problems of them are analyzed one by one so as to provide improvement advice and improved design. The author expects to contribute efforts to indoor and outdoor public space design of aged communities in the future, whether the design for residential buildings or the design for indoor and outdoor public space, create a safe, comfortable, healthy and convenient indoor and outdoor environment for the old.
