Design And Research Of The Old Residential District Remolding For Elderly In The Mode Of Community Endowment Model

The tradition pension model has always been house care and society institution, but as the speeding up of our life frequency, the present aged people’s children don’t have enough time to take care of their parents for the reason of busying at works. Moreover, most of the elderly can’t assume the high-priced fee of the nursing home, so the new model of community endowment which combine the strong point of the two kinds of pension model become the hot point in the field of elderly caring problem. At the same time, as the aging speed o f china has rapidly increased, most of the cities in China have the problem that lacking of optimum described residential,while the buildings which built in the 80’s last century had long life structures, which can last for several decorates, so that there are still large uses. In summary, the old housing alteration for elderly is another hot point in the elderly caring problem.The research consider the problem of caring for the elderly in Chinese aging society have two points, one is the community endowment, the other is the old house remolding for elderly, both of them has their own theory and practice but didn’t combined together. This thesis try to combine the two advanced idea together, discussing a kind of best way to remold old houses for elderly in the model of community service, to unite them perfectly and to optimize the allocation of resources.We take Xuzhou as an example, choose several residence communities built in the late 20s’ to the early 21s’ and the elderly live in these communities as our objects of study to proceed our study. On the one hand we investigated the environment, site facility, traffic, interior space and some other aspects to collect information and do analysis. On the other hand, we use the questionnaire to consult the elderly over 60 who live in the communities to collect and tidy their problems in the daily life, and the intention of remolding their houses. Through the collections of the old housing’s current situation, the investigation of the elder residents’ remold intention, and the analysis of related theories at home and aboard, we put forward the reasonable remolding method of the old house and introduce two related sample projects.The meaning of this study is that we combine the two concepts community service and old housing remolding for the elderly together, also we use practical investigation and analysis to propose reasonable methods which can promote the elderly-oriented constructions.
