Old Building Space As A Kind Of Public Art

In the studied here is the abandoned architectural space of the main city in a large number. The purpose of the study is trying to find a suitable measure to China’s circumstances, it must be discarded building space transformation, sustainable development and recycling method. This is not a simple answer or supplement in the history of the original building, but with the theory and concept of public art to research and practice, the concept is driven by a new regional environment, it will be the organic combination of contemporary art, architectural space, cultural industry, history resources and urban living environment of Chinese contemporary urban culture living space produces and develops in a certain field, which is the starting point of this thesis.To analysis the causes and status of first emerged from the waste of building space, time and history gave birth to the emergence of this waste of building space, the characteristics of the present situation, the remains of the old industrial buildings is our analysis points; then the waste of public art in architectural space to the emergence and development has made the elaboration, and pointed out that our theory and practice gap; then the successful cases at home and abroad from the perspective of public art to make the analysis; finally focuses on how the public art intervention of abandoned buildings space, with particular emphasis on:(1) building space transforming abandoned with the principle of public art idea;(2) public art theory of architectural space in the transformation of an abandoned consciousness;(3) the specific embodiment of public art in the transformation of architectural space;(4) the use of specific public art concept in the abandoned building space transformation.In this paper, in the areas of study within the framework, aiming at the questions of methodology research under the background of the development of conceptual art, public art concept point of view from the transformation of the abandoned buildings space research, and strive to in the transformation in line with the times, society, art development. After the industrial age of industrial civilization abandoned building how to deal with and examine, and the development of art is closely related to and the development of art is with the development of science, technology and industry is synchronous, even ahead of, in the post modernist art under the background, how can we use the public art contemporary art from perspective to intervene in the abandoned building space is innovation of this thesis, is different from the previous simple from architecture, landscape and ecological art forms are studied.
