The Study On Public Space Design In The Old Town Renewal

Throughout the status quo of urban development,the expansion and development of the new city will face the decline of the old city.In recent years,the transformation and renewal of the old city has become a topic of concern.There are many problems in the old city that need to be solved.For example,the infrastructure is backward,the living environment is dirty,and there are many hidden dangers caused by private construction.The population and labor force are lost.The transfer of industry is the severe problem facing the old city.Challenges,large gaps between the decaying old city and the modern city,whether for urban development or the original residents,the old city renewal is an urgent task.This paper takes the design of public space in the old city renewal of Laojie Street in Gongjing District of Zigong City as the main research content.First,the first two chapters are the research on the theory,literature and case of the old city public space renewal design.To sum up,sum up the spatial characteristics of the public space and the methods of the old city transformation.The third chapter is to study the urban development of Zigong City,summarize the history of the unique salt well culture in Zigong City and the current situation around the old city.At the same time,conduct field case investigation and analysis,study the public space form of the survey area and constitute the public space and people’s daily behavior.The relationship of activities,plus induction,contrast.The fourth chapter is based on the actual investigation of the third chapter,and makes a more in-depth analysis of human behavioral activities and the frequency of use of public space,thus obtaining a simple evaluation of public space quality,combined with space.The survey and interviews with local residents summed up some existing problems and shortcomings in the public space.The fifth chapter is based on the investigation and evaluation of the public space as a whole,and after the questions are raised,combined with the questionnaire survey and other means to determine the principle and direction of the transformation of the public space in Gongjing District of Zigong City.This paper attempts to discover and summarize the Gongjing District of Zigong City.The characteristics of the public space have been carried forward in the program.
