The Parcel Trolley System Research Of Parcel Sorter

Parcel sorter is used for sorting big parcels out automatically. This machine would realize automatic sorting process, reduce the labor amount and improve obviously the sorting efficiency and sorting accuracy. The largest number part of parcel system is parcel trolley. It has a key role to improve the performance of the sorting system. The trolley system contains latter upward package process, delivery package and early upload package. Mechanism, size and movement of parcel trolley would affect the sorting system.In this thesis, the research focuses on the performance factors: upward package time, upward package distance, movement steadiness, upload package time and upload package distance and so on. By means of studying structure evolution of trolley period, such as tray trolley, V-Form trolley and belt trolley and so on, it can help to conclude how to improve the performance of trolley system. Belt trolley is better than others. The upward package position can be designed. The velocity of upload package can be controlled. The belt trolley applies for modeling. Before modeling, the standard design specification should be defined, such as unit setting, accuracy definition of model, file classification management and user-defined features design and so on. Based on technology specifications, the dimension and verification of trolley can be established. Then using modeling software to design belt trolley and sorting system. The simulation equations can be built by studying multi-body dynamics and solutions. According to technology parameters and scope of application, simulation parameters can be defined, such as friction between parcel and belt, velocity of trolley operation and so on. The simulation result can be acquired for studying each parameter’s affect area.The purpose of thesis is to build a parametric modeling for parcel trolley system. What is more, mechanism design, optimization methods and testing result can offer excellent optimization methods and theories to the further improvement of parcel trolley system.
