Lithium-ion battery is a new generation of power with its superior performance,which has great potential.In the process of battery pack,sorting through parameters is a key step essentially.In this paper,the research and development of the automated sorting machine aims atsolving the problem of low efficiency.Based on the principle of battery measure,thispaper focus on the design of measure scheme,mechanical structure,and control system.The main tasks of this paper are listed as follows.(1)The scheme of measuring 12 batteries by 3 testers with relay is proposed.Through the study oftest methods,internal resistance and voltage as the measuring objects are determined,and the influence of wire and contact resistance by four-terminal method is eliminated.On this basis,the measure process of 12 batteries is analyzed andcombined with relay control technology.Finally,the calculation ofmeasuring time is completed,and the result shows that the time is less than 1 second.(2)The design of the mechanical structure is completed.Combined with the industrial design and product design theory,a newstructure is designed,which has two benches.The functions of feeding,transferring,testing and sorting are realized.The entity modeling by SolidWorks is completed and the working principle and the realization of each part of the action are calculated and analyzed in detail.(3)The design of the hardware is completed.In the system,PLC is the controller.On this basis,combined with pneumatic and servo drive technology,the selection of pneumatic system and servo system is completed.This system adopts the “PLC+Touch screen+Servo motor” as the control system,touch screen and sensor as the monitoring module,servo motor and pneumatic components as the execution unit.(4)The design of the software is completed.After researching the software structure,PLC control program flow is designed,including a main control program and each module subprogram.Finally,the design of man-machine interface touch screen by DOPSoft is completed.After debugging,the mechanical structure and control system are in normal operation.The cell resistance and voltage are measured,the results show that test accuracy are0.1 m? and 0.1 mV.The sorting efficiency is increased by 60%,and the efficiency reaches the designed index.
