| With the rapid development of the logistics industry in recent years, there is an increasing requirement for industrial information technology in the production process. As a highly automatic machine in the logistics center and transit points. the parcel sorter plays an important role in the parcel transportation. In response to the sudden problem in the productive process of sorting, the paper offers some diagnostic analysis of the faults, and then designes the monitoring system based on which it can realize the information management of the productive process by monitoring the real-time data status.This paper uses a modular method to analyse the operation status and possible fault of the parcel sorter’s hardware architecture, whilch includes sorting machine, chartered plane, lattices, power modules and so on, then gets all kinds of the required monitoring signals; And then analyzes the communication way of collecting monitoring signals by PLC, it gives a set of economic and practical combination of communication way based on the comparison of Profibus-DP, Ethernet and Serial communication. For the problem that the communication failure is difficult to find when it occurs, sunch as the DP faults, the paper introduces the function block programming FB125and other diagnostic method. Finally, by studying of the upper monitoring systems of parcel sorter, it is developed and simulated by the Siemens software WinCC with graphical display.The research of this paper on fault diagnosis and monitoring system of parcel sorting machine, can effectively improve the current level of information management in domestic logistics center. What’s more, it also has an important guiding significance and practical value. |
