The development of logistics industry has been greatly promoted by the rising of e-commerce in our country.With the maturity of the intelligent manufacturing technology,intelligent logistics shows a huge potential market and companies of different size have been set up.According to monitoring data of electronic commerce research center,there are more than 300 thousand logistics enterprises in our country at present time and only a few of them apply the automatic sorting system,which causes the situation of "express is slow" to some extent.According to the current literature,the research of automatic sorting system mainly focuses on the development of high-speed sorting equipment and efficient sorting strategy.After comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the sorting products in the current market,a modularized flexible sorting system is developed in this paper and its sorting strategy is proposed simultaneously.The main content of this paper is as follows:Firstly,a scheme of the flexible sorting cell is proposed.The structure is designed by UG and Solidworks software,then the static analysis and modal analysis of important structures are carried out through ANSYS.The analysis validates the rationality of the structure,and it shows a great practical value comparing with the similar sorting products.Secondly,the sorting information recognition system was developed based on image processing.In order to improve the applicability of the sorting system,taking the identification of the direct part marking 2D barcode as research object,the information of 2D barcode is read through the process of binarization,filtering noise reduction,edge detection,calibration and decoding,then the reliability of the algorithm is verified by MATLAB programming.Thirdly,the factors affecting sorting efficiency are studied and the sorting strategy is optimized.The main speed,supplying frequency,equipment layout and the impact of sorting strategy for sorting efficiency are analyzed using Plant Simulation software.On the basis of these analyses,optimizing the frequency of sending parts,increasing the preliminary sorting operation,rational layout of the sorting and implementing the intelligent dual channel sorting strategy are put forward,and the actual sorting ability of this system is got by comparing to the cross belt sorting machine.Finally,it concludes with project achievements and puts forwards the prospect of the improvement for the intelligent sorting system.
