| Cost management is very important in project management. Project cost controland valuation is a subdiscipline of engineering economy. That divides a whole projectinto single project, and then divides a single project into unit project, which is aprocess of project construction valuation and control and studies the regularity ofproject cost management. Nuclear power plant’s investment is huge which includesmany technologies and subjects. Its characters like polysomic, periodic, dynamic andsystematic make it different from common project in cost management mode,management practice, management theory and management culture. ChinaExperimental Fast Reactor(CEFR) is generation Ⅳ nuclear power plant technology,which is an innovative experimental nuclear power reactor with advanced design andcomplex construction technology. CEFR is the only one reference researcheconomics of generation Ⅳ nuclear power plant.This paper describes conception of project cost management system, costmanagement systems of Britain, USA and Japan, characters of cost management inChina, the difference between China and other countries and cost management statusin nuclear power plant. Firstly, CEFR and its management are introduced. Then, thepaper analysis nuclear island installation project cost management of CEFR,particular in its contract, and research in three key factors with CEFR technologywhich are supplemental price checking, material settlement price management andproject changes management.Faster reactor is the most potential type of generation Ⅳ nuclear power plant. Ithas a pivotal role in nuclear fuel cycle and it will be deployed in a large scale.Optimization methods like constructing suitable contract mode, strict controlling inproject changes and material, making quota system suitable for fast reactor which areimportant for cost management of demonstrate fast reactor or commercial fast reactor,providing supporting conditions for fast reactor deploy are suggested in this paper. |
