Economic globalization has created conditions for the rapid development of the construction and installation industry.According to the annual economic data analysis of the National Bureau of statistics,in 2019,the total amount of contracts signed by construction enterprises increased by about 14.25% year-on-year.The scale of the engineering construction industry is expanding day by day,which puts forward higher requirements for the management of construction projects,especially for the cost management of engineering projects.Mechanical and electrical installation project involves many specialties and strong specialty,which requires huge amount of capital investment.In the fierce market competition,enterprises must strengthen management and control from all aspects of project cost management if they want to occupy a dominant position in the fierce market competition.On the premise of ensuring the construction quality and completing the project on time,we should control the cost as much as possible,reduce the investment of capital,save enterprise resources and improve the efficiency of fund utilization.In order to achieve the goal of project cost management,this paper uses the research method of combining theoretical research and case analysis,summarizes the relevant theory of engineering cost management through literature research,takes ZDE company C project as the specific research object,carries out research and Analysis on the basis of collecting and sorting out the data and information of each link of C project,and carries out the comprehensive project completion This management research.ZDE company has been engaged in mechanical and electrical installation industry for more than 60 years.Through a long time of exploration and practice,ZDE has accumulated some experience in engineering cost management and achieved certain results.However,ZDE company's installation project cost management also has some problems,such as weak awareness of cost management and no perfect cost management system.Based on the relevant content of total cost management in project management and financial management theory,this paper divides the cost management of C project of ZDE company into five aspects: cost prediction,cost planning,cost control,cost accounting and cost analysis,finds out the cost management problems in each link of the project,analyzes the specific problems,and puts forward the improvement Finally,it provides a reference for improving ZDE company's follow-up project cost management level and improving resource utilization rate.It is hoped that the research in this paper will not only help ZDE company's cost management,but also play a certain role in improving the cost management level of other domestic enterprises.
