This essay discusses the difference of vocational schools designs amongdifferent regions through the research, theoretical analysis, interviews and surveyson various vocational schools at different regions. The main object of study is theconstruction standards adaptability. It proposes the impact, which is introduced byregional difference, on construction standards. It also compares the features anddifference on school size, land targets and layout, school construction standards dueto the imbalance of economic development, climate difference, populationdistribution and the difference between rural and urban area land use in various areas.In addition, it further discusses how and when construction standards should be usedin different areas, and accordingly chapterial adjustment proposal.The first chapter of this essay is abstract, which describes the relevant researchbackground within the country and abroad. It also introduces research methodologyand the overall framework used in this paper. chapter II studies the regionaldifferences in the construction of vocational schools, mainly analyses the maincomponents of regional differences, and come up with the construction problems ofthe vocational schools as well as how it is impacted by the regional difference.chapter III describes how regional difference affects the overall campus layout, andits related standards and indicators are discussed. chapter IV covers the design ofeach monomer schools with different functions and the related standards. It alsomakes recommendations for related indicators. chapter V introduces buildingstandards. It mainly discusses the indoor environment standards and constructionstandards of different components of the vocational schools. The last chapter is theconclusion, which summarizes the essay from different perspectives and proposesfuture research directions.This essay attempts to find the existence and extent of regional differences through analysing the case of vocational schools. It also proposes to amend thedesign and avoid undesirable designs according to the different characteristics of theregion at the premise of "vocational school construction standards".
