Secondary vocational education is one of the two important wings of China’s education system,which is the cradle of popularizing high school education and training primary and secondary labor skills talents for regional economic and social development.As a platform for students’ growth and receiving vocational education,secondary vocational school campus plays an active role in ensuring students’ safety,improving the quality of education,and guiding secondary vocational school students to carry out after-school learning and activities.However,with the continuous promotion of urbanization and modernization level,secondary vocational schoo ls in the main urban area of Guangzhou as a representative,there is a gap between the current situation of school construction and the overall urban construction.There are many secondary vocational schools in the main urban area of Guangzhou,with different levels of construction and old design.This paper takes the secondary vocational school in the main urban area of Guangzhou as the starting point,and takes the secondary vocatio nal school campus as the main research object.Through the investigation and Research on the secondary vocational school in the main urban area of Guangzhou,the paper focuses on the three representative secondary vocational schools: Guangzhou textile and clothing vocational school(Chigang campus),Guangzhou Electronic Information School and Guangzhou tourism and business vocational school(Shixi school headquarters)According to the analysis and research,most of the secondary vocational school campuses in the main urban area of Guangzhou have already built foundation,but there are common problems such as hidden danger of campus safety,degradation of function and lack of characteristics.In view of the above problems,based on the current design and use of secondary vocational schools in the main urban area of Guangzhou,combined with the characteristics of secondary vocational schools in "secondary" and "Vocational",this paper puts forward the principles,design process and two types of micro transformation design in secondary vocational schools,and divides the micro transformation design into four aspects: planning,architecture,landscape and outdoor sports facilities,There are specific sub contents in the four aspects.Combined with the integrity of the campus,the sub contents put forward corresponding design strategies and micro transformation methods according to the two types of micro tran sformation,and applied and tested the strategies and methods through design practice.
