BT mode has been applied in track traffic construction projects, but previousresearch rarely focused on BT projects’risk management, especially in theconstruction stage. Based on the characteristics of BT projects in the constructionstage, combined with ShenZhen metro line9, risk management method wasdeveloped, including risk identification, assessment and control techniques.(1)Based on the general characteristics of four main BT modes and theirpractices in track traffic construction projects, the study re-explained connotation andtypes of risk in the construction stage. Focused on the operational process ofconstruction projects, this study discussed risk management in decision-makingadjustment stage, design change stage, construction stage, financing stage, andsupervision stage. Furthermore, the influence mechanism of each stage onconstruction risk was analyzed respectively.(2)Taking ShenZhen metro line9as a case, based on the characteristics andconstruction information of BT projects, this study put forward four risk identificationtools, including documentation reviews, analogy method, check list and fieldinvestigation, which are complementary and crossed. In addition, this study proposeda method to analyze complex key risk points, and classified the risks into five types,including design risk, environment risk, equipment risk, operation risk and financingrisk. Based on this, the study used fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method toevaluate the risk during construction stage.(3)Great attention was paid to inner logic between identifying and assessmentresults and risk control strategies. Based on the case of ShenZhen metro line9andaiming at accident controlling, the study suggested that moderate controlling shouldbe the basic principle of track traffic BT project risk control. Different strategies ofrisk control, for example, avoiding, restraining, self-retention and transfer areproposed according to different risk levels and controlling ability. Different controlstrategies are flexibly and comprehensively combined in specific strategy design.
