| Since the 1980 s,with the continuous development and internationalization of China’s construction industry,EPC mode has also entered China.In the development process of more than 40 years,EPC mode has been rapidly developed and improved in China by virtue of a series of advantages such as reducing costs,shortening construction period,and reducing the workload of the owner,and has contributed a great deal to the progress of China’s construction industry.However,in the process of development and improvement of EPC mode,there are also many unavoidable problems such as backward risk management methods and lack of risk management thinking,which hinder the development of EPC mode in China.Not only that,there are also some deficiencies in the relevant research on the existing EPC mode,such as focusing on contracting units over contractors,focusing on financing over construction,etc.,which restricts the development of China’s EPC mode.In view of the limitations and deficiencies of the above related studies,this study summarized the above issues into the same research scope,and carried out research on the risk management of the EPC contractor in the construction stage,with a view to making up for the lack of relevant research and providing reference for the subsequent EPC general contracting model research.The main work includes the following aspects:(1)The risk evaluation system of contractors in the construction stage under EPC mode is constructed.The key words such as "EPC mode","EPC contractor","EPC construction" and "EPC risk management" are used for literature retrieval to identify the risk factors in the construction phase of the contractor under the EPC mode.The research results show that the risk factors affecting the project in the construction phase of the EPC model include 7 first level indicators and 17 second level indicators of political risk,economic risk,technical risk,social risk,security risk,organizational risk and natural risk.(2)Empirical verification of the risk assessment system of contractors in the construction stage under EPC mode.Through Delphi method and questionnaire survey,100 questionnaires were distributed for expert inquiry and scoring,and the secondary identification of risk indicators was completed.The empirical analysis methods of subordination analysis,correlation analysis and discrimination analysis are used to screen the indicators and test their reliability and validity.The research results show that the risk evaluation system of the contractor in the construction stage under the EPC mode includes 7 first level indicators and 17 second level indicators of political risk,economic risk,technical risk,social risk,security risk,organizational risk and natural risk.(3)Select the actual EPC project for case analysis.Using the risk evaluation system identified in the above part for reference,the risk factors of J City Z Hospital Project under EPC mode are identified and analyzed by using the analytic hierarchy process.The research results show that the risk factors can be measured and predicted in advance,and the project performance can be improved by using the identified EPC mode contractor risk evaluation system and combining the AHP to determine the weight.(4)Aiming at the hierarchical distribution of risk indicators of the project,this paper proposes targeted risk prevention measures to improve the relevant results of this study.Finally,we get the conclusion of this study and the prospect of the follow-up research.Based on the above analysis,the risk evaluation index system of contractors in the construction phase under EPC mode proposed in this paper can be used to explain and guide the engineering practice in China,and provide empirical and optional indicators for the risk evaluation and control of contractors in the construction phase.The research results can also provide theoretical and conceptual reference for the management and policy formulation of EPC general contracting mode of relevant government and industry management departments in China. |
