At present, the highway accidents yearly increases in the percentage of the total number of accidents, the end of2012highway traffic fatalities as a proportion of road traffic deaths has exceeded10%. Predictably, as its importance to the further development of Expressway further revealed, percentage of traffic accidents on expressways will be further improved.Shanghai-Chongqing expressway opened to traffic, for rapid development of Chongqing economic opportunities, but for people to travel and transport convenience, fast at the same time, but did not bring a real sense of security, in recent years the number of accidents continued to increase, resulting in larger losses and therefore the road traffic safety research is essential and urgent.This article first introduces the situation of domestic and foreign road traffic safety, Shanghai-Chongqing highway through the DongHuan to LuoQi for statistical analysis of traffic accidents and traffic accidents, vehicles, roads, environmental and management factors studied, reveals the elements of the cause of traffic accidents consequences.
