Cause Analysis And Countermeasures Of Construction Collapse Accidents

Frequently occurred construction collapse accidents have brought great casualties and economic losses to our society in recent years.In order to deeply analyze the causes and mechanisms of collapse accidents and propose preventive measures,this paper conducts a study on the causes of collapse accidents based on 235 investigation reports of collapse accidents in China from 2005 to 2019.Firstly,a descriptive statistical analysis was conducted on 235 collapse accidents from three aspects of collapse accident types,accident levels and injury types to reveal the basic information of collapse accidents.Four typical collapse accidents were selected and analyzed by using RASMUSSEN accident theory to establish ACCIMAP model one by one.Five levels of causes of collapse accidents were obtained: management causes,human causes,material causes,environmental causes and structural safety causes,and 39 accident causes were extracted from each level by combining with relevant legal norms,technical regulations and literature achievements.Secondly,the frequency of 39 causes in 235 collapse accidents was counted to obtain the high-frequency causes and the severity of problems at 5 levels.Then,by using the causative statistical data the Grey Relational Analysis based on 7 types of collapse accidents was carried out to obtain the tightness of the correlation between each cause and the accident.Thirdly,a Bayesian Network was constructed to analyze the influence and sensitivity of the relationship between nodes and get the accident causation chain which was composed of the sensitivity factors.The network model was also applied to the actual construction project.The probability of causes occurrence was deduced through the safety inspection,which is helpful to find the weak points of the system and to formulate measures.Finally,based on the results of statistical frequency,Grey Relational Analysis and Bayesian sensitivity analysis,39 causes were divided into three management levels: key causes,important causes and general causes,and corresponding management measures were proposed.Based on collapse accident cases and collapse accident reports data,this paper fully extracts the effective information of the accident investigation report and analyzes the basic rules of the collapse accident and the relationship between causes and causes,causes and the accident.Also the management countermeasures were put forward according to the research results,so as to provide a reference for better prevention and control of the collapse accident.
