Evaluation On The Comprehensive Renovation Of The Hangzhou Zhongshan Middle Road

Historic district is the continuation of history culture of cities. With the expansion of city areas and advancement of urbanization process, renovation of the historic district mostly focus on improvement of physical environment in the process of old city reconstruction, while ignoring the influence of humanities and ecological environment. How to handle the dialectical relationship between historic conservation and renovation and make them harmonious co-existence and harmonious development, become the key to success of the reconstruction. Taking the comprehensive renovation project of Zhongshan Middle Road walking street for instance, this paper takes the basic elements of historic distinct as the research object. First, this paper initially establishes an evaluation system of regulation projects which consists of project objectives, engineering management and public satisfaction as well as13evaluation indicators. Then this evaluation system is used to analyze the comprehensive renovation project of Zhongshan Middle Road walking street project and the strengths and weaknesses of specific measures for project implementation, as well as existing problems and corresponding reasons. Finally, based on the analysis result, it put forward countermeasures and suggestions for Zhongshan middle road.
