Ship automation is an important symbol of modern ships, and state monitoring of shipas a part of the modern ship automation is very necessary to guarantee the normal operationof equipment of the ship and the crew’s safety of life and property. Mosttraditional ship condition monitoring system was based on the fieldbus technology, themonitoring system of this form is not only high cost, complex wiring, but also not easyto maintain. This article designed the ship condition monitoring system based on mobileterminal, using the wireless sensor terminal nodes as the state sensing device, researchedand designed the system based on Zigbee wireless sensor network technology, and the useof movable monitoring terminal as a complement for the PC monitoring.After comparing some kinds of short distance wireless transmission technology, finallyselected the Zigbee as the system’s wireless sensing technology and given the overallframework of the system. Based on the full understanding of Zigbee technology, paper firstdesigned the hardware of the monitoring system, chose CC2530as the microprocessor coreof the system and designed the CC2530minimum system, then finished the hardware circuitmodule, including coordinator, router and sensing terminal of the sensor network, this paperalso designed the anti-interference measures of each node. Secondly, this paper developedthe sensor network software based on the Z-Stack protocol stack, after studying the workflow of protocol stack, this paper designed software process and flow chart of the programfor each system module and host computer monitoring interface on PC terminal and mobileterminal (Android). Finally, this paper has made a deep study of Zigbee routing algorithm,and proposed an improved Zigbee routing algorithm based on node energy optimization,simulation results show that, the improved algorithm performs well in reducing overallnetwork energy consumption, balancing the network load, prolonging the survival time andother aspects.After the completion of the hardware and software design of system, the systemrunning test was done. Results showed that achieving the data transmission between nodes,PC terminal and the mobile terminal (Android) interface design. Data showed normal results,system reached the expected design requirements.
