Because of theshortage of vehicles’ safety equipment, vehicle’s ages, and bad maintenance, the traffic accidentsoften happen and loss of economic and bad social influence result. Nantong city locates a superiorgeographic position and has strong economic foundation. Road passage and dangerous chemicalgoods transportation are very active, simultaneously, the evoked traffic accidents rate also large. Thisresearch is to establish the surface transportation vehicles equipment monitor system for trafficmanagement department and enterprises. This study results have important sense for improvingNantong road safety transportation, vehicles equipment technical level and supervise capacity.By the introduction, digestion, absorption and innovation of traffic safety production andmanagement technology, combining the reality of road passenger and dangerous goods transport,specifications standards and management measures for Nantong road passenger vehicle safetyequipment are presented. Firstly, from the two aspects of positioning technology and monitoringtechnology, vehicle supervise technology based the modern information technology are introduced.Secondly, Research has analyzed the Nantong road passenger transportation enterprise monitoringplatform, vehicle equipped with active passive safety facilities and the present situation of theenterprise security facilities. Lastly, the specifications standards and management measures forNantong road passenger vehicle safety equipment are established. Therein, hardware indexrequirements specific regulations, transportation vehicle data recorder vehicle satellite positioningsystem, vehicle braking performance to maintain system and other hardware devices and equipmenttechnical standards and specifications. For vehicle safety critical equipment or system, such asvehicle running logging recorder, exhaust spark arrester, conducting electrostatic zone, etc.management approach and its detailed rules using for Nantong road transport vehicle safetyequipment are enacted. Research results provides important reference basis for Nantongimplementation of road transportation utilizing modern technology standardization, standardizationand normalization. |
