With the increasing number of material wealth in our modern society,“Chinese dream” rekindle the aspirations of hundreds of millions of people on our wealthy and strong country to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. “Chinese Dream” is everyone’s dream, which needs a generation after generation of Chinese people in a common effort. What’s more, children are the future and hope of the motherland, and the starting point of a dream. Therefore, paying more attention to children’s health and cultivating them for the new times as soon as possible are inevitable choices and new forces for the “Dream”.In addition, with the per-capita standard of living of the general improvement, the market is required to give more products to meet children’s daily needs.And the value of products is required in a deeper level from basic functions to the spiritual and cultural connotations. At the same time, household products have been made in a more sophisticated processing, and more healthy materials. All kinds of products are constantly updating in our whole life.Owing to attention of families and society, preschool children have more chance to meet their needs than ever, and the innovation of children ’s product designs are full of new opportunities. Children ’s tableware design is endowed with a sense of mission for their mental and physical health. It is an effective way to improve the children ’s tableware design up till now that the weak self-care ability and limited capacity of them are incorporated into the design requirements,combined with their nature.It shows that preschool children will have poor dinner environment with tableware made in unhealthy material or inappropriate design, in terms of the extensive research of contemporary preschool children having dinners in families or public occasions, and tableware selling well on the net or in markets. However tableware should play more efficiently as main auxiliary tools during the meal for them. It carries out a detailed analysis of their psychological needs correspondingly, and proposes to meet the different needs of design at different emotional levels. Furthermore, it summarizes the tableware design elements, which is suitable for preschoolers, and puts forward design principles based on the emotion of them. Finally, it designs two types of tableware, a spoon and a pair of chopsticks for children by the way of design instances, so that preschoolers will have a better psychology, improving the dining conditions.
