| With the development of China’s economy, the improvement of medical standards has to a large extent controlled the mortality rate at a low level, and at the same time it has brought about the extension of the life span of the population, which will mean that it is particularly necessary to correctly face the aging society. As the elderly grow older, their physiology has gradually changed, the musculoskeletal system has deteriorated and the perception system has become increasingly insensitive, and their psychological demands cannot be met. These all require strong attention from the society. At present, there are few daily necessities designed specifically for the elderly in my country,so this type of market has great development potential and room for development. The thesis takes the emotional design as the entry point, takes the elderly as the research object, adopts the semantic difference scale method, and the questionnaire survey method obtains the emotional needs of the elderly, and uses it as the basis for the emotional design of the tableware for the elderly. The thesis first introduces the theory of products for the elderly and emotional design, interprets the research value of the emotional design of tableware for the elderly, focuses on the current situation of emotional design, and then explores the research content of the emotional design of tableware for the elderly.Next, based on the elderly group as the object, analyze the changes in the physiological and psychological trends of this group, and explain the characteristics of this group’s eating style. The emotional three-level theory is applied to the appearance, function, and innovation of tableware, and the emotional measurement method is used to collect, analyze and extract semantics, thereby combining design elements with tableware. Finally, the emotional design practice of tableware for the elderly is carried out. From an emotional perspective, the paper designs tableware that is functional and easy to use for the elderly, which can not only meet the physiological needs of the elderly, but also meet the psychological demands of the elderly for the tableware, and at the same time make the tableware more unique and humanistic. |
