A global financial crisis happened in2007had made the American banks who oncewere proud of its"high profit, low risk, strong management", lost their global financialhegemony. Oppositely, this is a great opportunity to China and other Asian Banks whocontinued to catch up and had still been in the second step of China’s banking industry inthe long run. As seen as the present economic situation in China, there has a great impacton the China banks:the deposit disintermediation, the overstaffed organization, thecomplexity process and so on. For solving those problems, the China banks should takesome radical measurements. Reengineering their business process, to some extent, is theadjusted and efficient way to led to the China banks to compete in the internationalfinancial world. The process reengineering solution, just provide the reform direction andthe reform of China’s commercial banks in the tool for strategic transition period.In fact, in spite of the imbalance of the economic development, nowadays, thecommercial banks of our country suffer from financial changes and the competitiveenvironment that the European banks had confronted with as early as20years ago.However, our foreign counterparts did not stick to the tradition, but still continued to studyand practice the efficient solution and measurement until the “reengineering" theorycreated. The “reengineering" theory which led the America and Europe banks to get thesuccess can also benefit to the development of our commercial banks. That is the reasonthe author researched.
