With China’s accession to the WTO, the hotel industry in China faces moreopportunities than challenges. Competition for talents has become the focus of thecompetition among enterprises and the dramatic changes taking place in the labormarket have come into the picture. The guarantee of business strategies, especiallyhuman resources development strategy, plays an important role in the realization ofthe medium and long-term development strategy of Huatian Group. As the importantbase for personnel training, Huatian Hotel shoulders the weighty responsibility ofcultivating backbones for Huatian Hotel Group. After years of development, we havealready laid a good foundation and now have a good internal circumstance of humanresources. In order to meet the needs of talents for the group’s plan, Huatian Hoteldeveloped the human resources planning for the next5years.(From2013to2017)This thesis regards Huatian Hotel as the research object. Based om the referencesto the relevant concepts and theories of human resources management as well as theprevious research results, the paper presents a brief historical review of humanresources management of Huatian Hotel and Huatian Group. Then, on the basis ofcomprehensive analysis on the current situation of Huatian Hotel human resources, thepaper presents the analysis on and the explanation to the problems existing in thehuman resource supply and demand as well as the cause of the imbalance betweensupply and demand. According to the guiding ideology and development principles ofhuman resource development strategy of group’s plan, this thesis put forward the keymodule of human resources planning considering supply and demand prognosis forhotel,i.e., the talent and quantity structure, the career planning and retirement and thedismissal plan.Meanwhile, in order to ensure the implementation of human resources planning,the guarantee measures are put forward from many aspects such as policy, budget,personnel supplement and training, human resources guarantee, enterprise culture, thegovernment support, etc., on the basis of analysis on the possible obstacles.In this thesis, a systematic study was conducted to the human resourcesmanagement of Huatian Hotel. Aiming at the subsistent problems, the paper putsforward some practical proposals and analyzes the risk and security in theimplementation of the measures in the hope of providing lessons for the human resource planning of Huatian Hotel Group. |
