Since the globalized economy trend has already been widely acknowledged, the market competitions have become increasingly fierce. Thus, companies have to keep improving its overall efficiency and performance to achieve its competitive advantages. Many live examples have proved that the performance management outweighs all the other methods in terms of the improving the overall performance for a company. However, when practicing the performance management, a couple of companies do not get the expected outcomes and CBC as a fast growing exhibition company met all the same problems while exercising the performance management, especially when it conducted the performance appraisal management to its work staff. Therefore, my paper concludes the problems in CBC’s performance management, does an analysis on the causes and redesigns the performance appraisal system for CBC on the basis of the analysis to help improve the management of CBC’s human resources.CBC’s project management plays a dominant role for the subsidiaries and projects in terms of the production, operation, safety control, human resources, finance and so on and assesses the their work performance and work efficiency to help promote the company’s overall development. This paper integrates the theories with practice and conducts a comprehensive analysis of the current CBC performance management. Thereupon, it summarizes the existing problems on CBC’s performance appraisal management, uses key performance indicators method and balanced scorecard method to redesign CBC performance appraisal system to help improve CBC’s performance management.The major achievements of this paper include the application of the advanced theories of performance management to CBC’s human resources management, and the combination of CBC’s actual demand. The redesigned performance appraisal system is targeted to resolve the existing problems of CBC’s performance management to sustain the company in the long run, and provide reference for other exhibition companies in the same regards.
