Study On Rural Tourism Development In Zibo City

As a new form of tourism, Rural Tourism is the product of tourism development into acertain period. At first it was flourished in the rural outskirts near the city of rapid economicdevelopment. Rural Tourism, as a form of tourism that happens in rural areas, first appeared inEurope in the19th century for two-hundreds of years. Rural Tourism started since1980inChina. Presently, it is still in its infancy, but the strategic significance of Rural Tourismdevelopment has been accepted extensively. In terms of Zibo city, the strategic significance ofrural tourism is mainly embodied in five aspects: Firstly, the channels of farmers’ incomeimproving is further broadened, and rural surplus labor force is absorbed; Secondly, theincreasingly added value of the agriculture, which promote rural development of Service Sector,thirdly, which improve the rural environment and the living standard of farmers. Fourthly, italso strengthens the link of spiritual civilization between urban and rural area, and advance theconstruction of rural spiritual civilization; Fifthly, It upholds the ecological and culturalprotection.The author has investigated the development of rural tourism in Zibo city: In the first one,a thorough investigation of the rural tourism resources of Zibo city is finished. The second one,the investigation of mature development of Rural Tourism products is completed. The surveyfound that tourism resources and potential are rich. In recent years, rural tourism is emerging.At the same time, there are also some problems and contradictions among development. To sumit up: First, the planning and the supporting system is not perfect; Second, small scaledevelopment and less collectivized enterprises exist generally; Third, the level of managementlags and the service is poor; Fourth, paying much attention to development and less topropaganda objective should be solved; Fifth, operators focus on short-term interests, ignoringthe sustainable development of Rural Tourism.To solve these problems, author mainly used tourism science, management science andother related theory and knowledge to investigate and research. Field survey, literature methodcan be used to analyze the present situation of Zibo Rural Tourism development. More accuratereference for policy measures of tourism development and related decisions can be provided in practice is based on theory. After these investigation and analysis referred all above, authorsuggest that six points should speed up rural tourism development: Firstly, speeding up RuralTourism development lies in the leadership; Government should strengthen the policy of ruraltourism development, capital and intellectual support; secondly, a necessary good work ofplanning of rural tourism and eco-tourism development. Formulation development of tourismplanning is the most basic and important work. In the process of rural tourism development, wemust attach great importance to the preparation and implementation of plans. Only do planningin advance could prevent the blind development in Rural Tourism; thirdly, paying moreattention to the tourism project construction and realizing large-scale rural tourism, ecologicaltourism development lead to bigger and stronger of Rural Tourism enterprises. Fourthly,standard service and service quality and level of rural tourism encourage the healthydevelopment of Rural Tourism. Fifthly, strengthening propaganda work and expanding thevisibility and influence of rural tourism should not be neglected. Sixth, strengtheningmanagement, and then it promote the sustainable development of rural tourism, ecologicaltourism.The key of the rural tourism development in ZiBo is to hold up sustainable scientificdevelopment. So will many elements people of Zibo expect. Development and science on fileswill spread to practice. Sustainable development of Rural Tourism, real benefit to the majorityof farmers and new rural construction will be realized.
