As vigorous development, global economic integration, the speed of company operatingprocess accelerating in the knowledge economy era, Chinese textile industries are in thetransitional period of from large textile country to strong one. Advancing the industry oftextile industry adjustment is imperative by new and high technology research and improvinginnovation ability. Human resources in enterprises are as equally important as materialresources and financial resources. After entering to WTO, with the talent competitiongradually following with international practice and the value orientation of people alsogradually diversification, enterprise competition for talent heats up. Human resourceconstruction and management is facing severe challenge, especially the labor-intensive textileenterprises under such situation. Forming abundant human resources and enhancing the roleof human capital in the industry is the core work for most of the textile enterprises. Within theeffectiveness of human resource performance appraisal in the enterprise is leverage, effectiveperformance management is one of the most important tool to improve the quality ofemployees.This paper analyzes existing performance management system according to the actualsituation of textile company X, and combines with domestic and foreign advancedperformance management theories and other enterprise management experiences, from theperspective management, sales staff, and a line of grass-roots staff performance appraisal.And then points out that the company employee performance management is facing someproblems, such as single performance appraisal standard, ignoring the employeesparticipation, some indicators lack of objectivity and lack of communication and feedback,which suggests the necessity of modern performance management. After that, this paperconstruct company performance management plan according to the theory of modernperformance management process, based on the process of performance planning,performance implementation, performance evaluation, performance feedback, performanceimprovement and application of performance results. Finally, conclusions are given and thedirection of further research is illustrated.
