Study On The Influence Element Of Ability Promotion Of The Basic Level Agricultural Technology Extension Person

Agricultural science and technology is the first driving force of the agriculturedevelopment，agricultural extension workers play an important role like the bridge linkingthe agricultural technology with farmers. At the same time, the ability of agriculturalextension workers directly affect the result of application of agriculture science andtechnology. Therefore, it is very significant to study the influence element of agriculturalextension workers’ capacity.Firstly, defining the concept of agricultural extension mechanism、 agriculturalextension worker and others, on the basis of present investigation of basic agriculturalextension organization, Then on the data from the175agricultural workers and796farmers in Jiangxi, Anhui and Zhejiang provinces who received the surveying. Using themethod of factor and multiple linear regression analysis to study the target which affectagricultural extension workers’ ability. Lastly, according to the empirical results, in thisarticle researching on the influence element of agricultural extension workers’ capacity andpolitical advice are given to sound the system of agricultural extension workers improvingfrom both internal and external circumstance.The two major findings of this study:(1) The current capacity building conditions ofbasic agricultural extension worker is poor. there exist internal problems that workers areaging, update knowledge slowly and disjoint with farmers’ demand in basic levelagricultural technology extension organization; there also exist some externalenvironmental problems like low welfare, promotion means are backward, poor extensionconditions, talent introduction mechanism is rigid in basic agricultural technologyextension organization.(2) In this article, the staff’s ability was included coordinatedcommunication ability, technical guidance ability and knowledge and businessability,through the empirical analysis,it is find that communication ability contributemostly to staff’s ability than others, but farmers are prefer to the value of practical utilityfrom technology guidance, staff’s knowledge disconnected with practical problems resultedthat there had not a strong relation between agricultural extension worker’ education andtheir promote ability.Based on the above analysis, four suggestions put forward to improve the ability ofbasic agricultural extension workers lastly in the article: firstly, to perfect the assessmentand incentive mechanism of basic-level agricultural technology extension staff; secondly,to strengthen the staff construction of basic-level agricultural technology extension system;thirdly, to improve the salary guarantee mechanism of agricultural technology extensionstaff; lastly, to increase the financial investment to basic agricultural technology extensionworker.
