Hot-batteries are solid electrolyte cell for single use, also known as thermally activated reserve battery. Hot-battery widely used in projectile fuse, rocket and missile power working equipment and self-supervision and control system. Hot-battery testing is a complex process which complete it by a mass of equipment cooperation, the original method which connecting, debugging, reading and recording by human being can’t meet design requirement. Besides, some adverse environment can’t be survival. So we must design and implementation the hot-battery automatic detection for complex Hot-battery testing.In this dissertation, the research work is described as the follows. First of all, according to learn the concert, development, history, technical characteristics and structural of virtual instrument, we should grasp the advantages of virtual instrument and trends on automatic monitoring and control, and gives the reason that we select PXI-bus as control mode. We will design and implement the automatic test system. According to the general scheme of automatic detection system, describe the basic working principle in detail. Based on the above theoretical design, we build the hardware platform including power modules, PXI bus module, relay matrix module, constant current source circuit module, input and output modules and signal processing module. We select key and protection measures about peripheral cables, chassis structure. Complex software platform, write software execution processes, human-computer interaction and testing data processing. Next, analysis automatic test systems which including reliability analysis, maintenance analysis, security design security design, environmental adaptability and testability analysis. Determine the product quality and meet requirement. Finally, finish the automatic system testability verification experiment, by compliance testing and error analysis, we can ensure the precision of automatic system. Papers design hardware module design analysis by use of virtual instruments PXI-bus ways, to enhance the safety and reliability of the test system, while ensuring the automatization, modularization and standardization of automatic testing system.
