Research On The Evolution Of Self-organizing Information Ecosystem

As the research subject of information ecology, the information ecosystem is adynamic huge system which forms by the interaction of human and the informationenvironment. By studying the formation and evolution of the information ecosystem, wecan not only understand the complex and intimate relationships between human andinformation in today’s world, but also gain some revelations and suggestions about thedevelopment of the information society.This article mainly explores the evolution process of the information ecosystemthrough the use of self-organization theory. Based on the research results at home andabroad, it describes the theories about information ecosystem and self-organizationfirstly, and illuminates the rationality, necessity and feasibility of introducingself-organization theory into the study of information ecosystem evolution. Then theco-evolution process and the spiral evolution process of the information ecosystem areanalyzed concretely as the core parts of the article, through the detailed exposition thearticle sums up the cooperative mechanism, fluctuation mechanism and super-cyclemechanism on the evolutionary process, and points out the uncertainty law、minimumthreshold law and irreversibility law on the evolutionary process. At last, the articleintegrates the above research and provides three methods of promoting the evolution ofinformation ecosystem toward positive direction.
