In recent years, a series of major socialinfluent events were caused by the new media as the carrier of propagation in our country. Reconstructing newmedia events are not social managers and professional media disseminator’s plan, nor the process of public weremedia ritualized, but a positive attitude of the public, the media and society for construction of a new media space.Compared with the "media event" in traditional media period, reconstructing new media events has a hugedifference among the expression form and its transmission mode or propagation effect. This article conducted atheoretical carding through the communication and related disciplines. Through typical case classification, wefound the types and characteristics of the new media for events reconstruction as well as the reasons, and analyzedhow to treat this reconstruction of new media to events correctly.The full text mainly consisted of three parts by the introduction, text and epilogue. Introduction explained theresearch background, the status quo, research objects and study methods. The text was divided into five parts: thefirst chapter combed the related concepts of new media and reconstruction. We analyzed the performance of thenew media of events reconstruction and the means of reconstruction respectively, and summarizes the problemsexisting in the process of new media reconstruction; The second chapter expounded the new media to the type ofevent reconstruction, analyzed three types of the exaggerating type to refactor, emotional reconstruction as well asthe "binge". The third chapter expatiates the characteristic of the new media of reconstructing events, discussedfrom the social attention ways of rationalization, reconstructing events discourse "fragmented" and social grouppsychological resonance populism tended to these three aspects mainly, showed that the problems existing in theprocess of new media event reconstruction; The fourth chapter mainly elaborates the cause of the new media eventreconstruction, mainly analyzed from the social roots, characteristics of new media and the public. The fifthchapter mainly elaborates how to dialectically treat the new media events of reconstruction, mainly analyzed fromthree aspects of the government, the new media and the public, in order to made a better and more comprehensiveapproach to treat the new media events of reconstruction dialectically.
