Electric vehicle information terminal is an integral part of the Electric vehicle’s control system,the terminal is mainly responsible for collecting data in a variety of conditions during vehicle operation, data storage, data processing and data transmission. It also provides data sources for the performance analysis of vehicle operating conditions. The amount of data to be processed is growing due to rapid development of information technology for electric vehicles, and the increased type of service information terminals provided, Reliable storage of large data set is becoming an increasingly important part of providing effective service to Electric vehicle users This essay conducted in-depth research, based on the terminal data storage technology in the current situation of increased amount of storage data and storage speed of the Electric Vehicle information terminal.Firstly, the platform architecture of electric vehicle information terminal has been described in this essay. The information terminal hardware platform based on controller STM32F103ZG, include the circuit of data acquisition, data storage and peripheral expansion. The software system is based on the built of μC/OS-II operating system.Secondly, variety type of data and storage characteristics of the electric vehicle information terminal has been analyzed, proposed a storage management solution based on flash translation layer and common file system.Next, we mainly focused on the study of flash translation layer. Through comparison of Different address mapping algorithm BAST and FAST algorithm, proposed a new improvement ideas, effectively reducing the NAND Flash operation erase cycles, improves efficiency of write operation and the life of NAND Flash.Lastly, this essay described the implementation of the data storage drive layers in the Electric Vehicle information terminal including the design and implementation of underlying NAND Flash drive, the flash file system and flash translation layer. In order to verify the feasibility and practicability of data storage management algorithm in this study, Performance tests were run against its main function modules on the Electric vehicle information terminal hardware platform, and desired results were achieved.
