With the gradual change of national policy of vacation and the improvement of people’sliving level constantly, the tourism industry has been developed so rapidy, the domestic hotelservice industry has changed rapidly as well. Therefore, how to develop a friendly interface； aneasy operation management system；an efficient management of hotel service, and how toimprove service quality has become an important problem today, this is the purpose andsignificance of developing the system. The thesis describes the guest house management systemof design and realization process. During the whole developing process, the thesis hasinvestigated each section’s work business process of guest house, and basis on the needs of thecustomers and staff members to establish a set of concrete solution.The system adopted2006Enterprise of the JBuilder Borland and SQL Server2008as thedeveloping tool. The main mission was to do the informational management to the guest househousing and its main functions including: giving bills to the individual tourist；giving bills togroup guests；room location；guests to change rooms；guests stay；invoicing queries；in store guestqueries；departure guest queries, all guests inquiry, system settings, staff management and systemhelp, etc. The Guest House Management System was a typical model of java program designmanagement system, and the usage of system to carry on the guest house of the daily informationcan understand each information in the link of change and advantageous to exalted the efficiencyof management in time. The thesis can improve the efficiency of daily work of the hoteleffectively, and easily to handle the labor’s strength, and make the guest house of daily eventsefficiently and fast, thoroughly realize the information of height integration, exalted theinformation’s adoption, analyze and make use of the ability of information.
