With the30years old reform and opening up, the productivity and average personal income of our country have increased continuously, the use of car are more and more common. The basic number of car is huge in many provinces inside, as well the year’s average increment is also big, causing traffic jam, thus the parking difficulty becomes the standing-out problem. As the basic city facility is in high speed, modern garages charactered of high and new technology come near to us. When the garages are becoming large and multiple stratification, they are also converting to modernization and intelligent. Detection of large parking lots and information system are the basic part of parking guide system, which not only provides guarantee to quickly driving to park lots and finding free parking lots, but improves the use efficiency of the garage.The large parking lots detection and information system in this paper mainly applied to large multi-level and multi-district garages. The system consists of three parts:(1) Using the infrared distance measurement model combined with CC2530chip implement the accuracy acquisition of parking lots condition.(2) It Using the ZigBee wireless communication technology prevalent in IOT to build the short distance wireless sensor net successfully. This paper analyzes the data transmission method used in garage now, pointing out the feasibility of ZigBee technology in data transmission of parking position, and introduces the related contents of wireless-sensor-net’s build using ZigBee technology in detail, expounding how terminal node sends detected information to management terminal via ZigBee net and how management terminal sends collected information to upper computer through serial ports;(3) Building upper computer stage in Visual Studio2010professional edition environment using C language. This stage can not only analyze and deal with the information collected by serial ports, but send rest free parking lot number and specific position information to LED and LED matrix screen to display, telling those drivers who is drive to the garage.It obtain the reasonable threshold value of infrared measurement model through a number of experiments, and dose test to the accuracy of ZigBee net data sending and receiving by serial debugging assistance; Zigbee wireless sensor net is dependable in suitable distance when transmitted, LED and LED matrix screen can display parking lots condition real time. The system’s successful running provides appropriate solution for parking guiding, it has good application prospect and promotion value.
