Modern urban waste water treatment process with the process more complicated, large capacity, continuous production, equipment variety, parameter detection difficult, large time delay, interfere with many of the features of the traditional manual process control has been unable to meet the operating, monitoring and management requirements. Therefore, the automatic control system to ensure that the waste water treatment plant has become a safe, stable, long-cycle and optimize important to ensure the operation of the waste water treatment process and investigate the function of the automatic control system architecture and implementation methods has important practical significance.In this thesis, a waste water treatment plant in central target for the engineering analysis of the waste water treatment process, building waste water treatment plant automatic control system, and configure and explore the city waste water Siemens PLC software configuration/programming aspects from system planning, hardware during the application processing.Automatic control system of waste water treatment process to SIEMENS S7-400as the hardware platform, WINCC7.0as the monitoring software platform, CPU, power supply module and the communication link and select redundant configuration, and network architecture uses two Profibus-DP and Ethernet combined by field bus communicator.Base on the analysis process and user needs, the preparation of the waste water treatment process-oriented control program, the development of a graphical user interface, to achieve communication with field instrumentation, thus constituting a set of control functions, high reliability openness good automatic control system.Waste water treatment process automatic control system was discussed in this paper, the first half of2013and put into use, advanced features, high reliability, stable, user-friendly, to ensure the normal operation of the waste water treatment process.
