| "The regulations of the General College Library" pointed out that college libraries should shoud perform the functions of education and information,and generat talents with lofty ideals, integrety, knowledge and a strong sense of discipline for the cause of socialist construction. It indicated that moral education always is the proper meaning of educational functions of college libraries in China. This paper attempted to start from the perspective of moral education of college students, and systematically discussed the function of moral education of college libraries and find zhe way how to exert this function.Firstly, this paper argued that the specific manifestation of moral education function of college libraries from three aspects. They included the influence function of elegant atmosphere, the education function of abundant stored literal information, and the education function of library culture activities. Secondly, this paper analysed the current situation of moral education function of college libraries play through the questionnaire survey, and expounded the factors influencing the moral education function of college libraries play. These factors included many factors. Because leadership despised on the moral education function of college libraries, it was difficult to form the normal work of moral education. For a long time, the moral education of university and library work was independented. The college libraries did not have fully developed their own literature resources. College libraries reflected slowly on readers’reading habits change. College students were greatly affected by adverse external environment. Finally, this paper suggested some countermeasures to give full play to the moral education function of college libraries. They included that college libraries shoud strengthen sectoral cooperation, pay attention to the construction of Librarians, beautify the reading environment, optimize collection structure, and strengthening the education for readers. |
