On the one hand, the reports responded to the community concern about the issue of the peasant workers as well as the government’s attention to manage and support the peasant workers. On the other hand, the negative image of peasant workers in the form of detail report in "Xiamen Daily" echoes the local people with the superior and elite mentality to examine and reject the foreign group. The study contributes to the media to find its stereotype image report and provides a reference for the other party newspapers. Moreover, the findings of the study helps Xiamen policy-makers, local residents and the peasant workers gain more concern and awareness toward the issue of peasant workers.
