With the increase ofvehicles retaining, the improving and governing traffic jam become animportant part of city management, which decide the development level andcontinuous development ability of a city.As the fast development of Dalian Economy and increasing livingstandard of people, private car purchasing becomes the essential part ofDalian lives. It is analyzed that until27th April2013, the car ownership hasreached to1.18million, increasing12%comparing with last year. The trafficproblem emerges along with the growing of vehicles, especially the traffic jamthat becomes serious day by day.With the help of Dalian Intelligent traffic system construction, this projectaims to realize the traffic information, Inquiry service, traffic safety, serviceguidance as well as service customization. The traffic information includes:real-time traffic status, Video traffic, Traffic-induced screen, event information; the inquiry service includes: Vehicle illegal queries, Offices distributed query,The driver illegal queries, Driver information query, Electronic police distributedquery.There are still spaces for the integrated system to exploit andconsummate, because it must be repaired and consummate in the actualoperation. And its main achievement is as following:1. Take demand analysis, system designing, system realization andsystem test to Dalian Intelligent traffic system2.Design and realize real-time traffic status system of Dalian Intelligenttraffic system.3.Design and realize inquiry service system of Dalian Intelligent trafficsystem.4.Design and realize service guidance system of Dalian Intelligent trafficsystem.5.Realize customized service system of Dalian Intelligent traffic system.Dalian Intelligent traffic system is a service platform which is reusability,expandability as well as maintainability of B/S framework. This platform stillneed adjustment and improvement in the following days ofPractice, and room for improvement has been left in advance. However,due to the restriction of time and resource, there are still some problemsexisting on this system, so we may need deep research on the followingquestions in the days coming: 1.Dalian Intelligent traffic system displays by reading multiple data indifferent systems, and the system itself does not have memories of data, andthe increasing of user request of effect on the current capacity traffic, so thesystem must restore the data by image copies; however, some of the data istimeliness requirements. As a result, how to resolve the real-time imagerequirements need to be explored and discussed.2.In the Dalian Intelligent traffic system, it only realized enquiry anddisplay functions for information, but no functions for data analysis andExcavation, and no support for intelligent decision support for user inquiry.3.The single inquiry function of system does not involve security andconcurrency, but as the expanding of the system functions, the problems ofsecurity and concurrency and others will be considered.4.The diary function has some logs for the operations of administrator;however, the preciseness of data system need a whole-course log for alloperators.The project discussed on how to make use of informatize andintelligentize to adjust the conflict among people, vehicles and roads in a moreScientific way; to improve the traffic management standard to convenientobject research of the citizen, with the help of traffic data analysis. The projectaims to convoy the construction and development of Dalian city, to contributefor the target of " speed up the transition of economic development mode, topromote comprehensive, balanced and sustainable economic and social development".
